Telecor's Healthcare and Security Call Stations Now Interoperable With Panasonic's IP-PBX Systems

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 14, 2010) - Panasonic Canada Inc. and Telecor Inc. are pleased to announce the completion of successful interoperability testing for Telecor's IP-PBX based series of call stations with the Panasonic KX-TDE family of communication systems.

"With the Telecor VS-600 Resident Station and Panasonic IP-PBX system, healthcare facilities can rely on Panasonic and Telecor for a complete resident communication solution for their facility", said Brian Cox, National Sales and Marketing Manager, IP- PBX Products, Panasonic Canada Inc. "The VS-600, when used in conjunction with Panasonic's In-Premise DECT Wireless Handsets and Direct Care Monitor (DCM) software, allows healthcare professionals to react more timely to patient alerts as well as track alerts and 911 calls via the DCM Software"

The two companies recently completed interoperability testing and certified that the Panasonic KX-TDE family of communication systems will work seamlessly with Telecor's IP-PBX based series of call stations. Telecor's VS-600 Resident Station, wired and wireless pull cords, call cords, and pendants provide reliable connectivity between residents and staff in retirement, assisted living, independent living and long-term care facilities. The Industrial Grade Call Station ADIC-600 also provides call assistance in schools, colleges, universities, parking garages and other security applications.

Telecor's longstanding commitment to provide state-of-the-art communication and fail- safe equipment coupled with Panasonic's PBX system provides the end user with unprecedented reliability. In addition, the joint solution allows ease of communication with standard analog, digital and or IP telephony desk sets and the Panasonic wireless handsets. "Comprehensive and easy to use tools make our solution an enviable choice for all personnel who need to communicate clearly in case of emergency" says Peter Jova, President, Telecor Inc.
