Telematics Update unveils finalists for the Telematics Awards 2005

Winners to be announced on 16 May 2005 at Telematics Detroit 2005

London, Tuesday March 29, 2005. Telematics Update has announced the finalists for the 2005 Telematics Industry Awards. Chosen by an independent panel of automotive and wireless industry judges, each judge had to narrow each category to 3 finalists.

Winners will be announced at the gala dinner that closes the first day's proceedings at the 5th annual Telematics Detroit Conference and Exhibition May 16-17 2005.

"The Telematics Update Awards program aims to recognize and celebrate companies, large and small, who have made huge steps in this niche automotive industry", said Anita Yaa Agyeman, Event Director for Telematics Detroit 2005. "Nominees have been submitted this year ranging from small start-ups to large multinational brands. These companies represent the future of telematics with some very compelling solutions."

The winner of each category will be announced during the Telematics Update Awards Gala Dinner on May 16 at the Detroit Marriot Livonia, Michigan, USA.
