Teleperformance Nominated as a Professional Award Finalist for 2015 SC Awards

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwired - April 21, 2015) - Teleperformance, the global leader in outsourced multichannel customer experience management, has been named a finalist in the SC Awards 2015 for exemplary professional leadership in information technology (IT) security. Bruce Wignall, Teleperformance's Chief Information Security Officer, was acknowledged as a finalist in the Professional Award category of the SC Awards. The winners will be announced on April 21, 2015 at the SC Awards 2015 ceremony in San Francisco.

"From Home Depot, to JP Morgan, to Sony, cyber attackers showed new levels of sophistication and determination in their attacks in 2014," said Illena Armstrong, VP, editorial, SC Magazine. "With mounting headlines, it's more important than ever to recognize the tireless efforts of the men and women across the globe who work to combat these threats and provide cybersecurity to organizations large and small."

The SC Awards, now in its 18th year, are the information security industry's most prominent recognition for cybersecurity professionals, products and services that help protect today's corporate world from a myriad of ever-changing threats. With the SC Awards, SC Magazine recognizes the achievements of security professionals in the field, the innovations happening in the vendor and service-provider communities, and the vigilant work of government, commercial and nonprofit entities.

"I am honored to be nominated for such a prestigious award and to be recognized alongside some of the world's most-trusted companies," said Wignall. "I am proud of the hard work and dedication of our security team at Teleperformance and this nomination represents the significant investments that Teleperformance has made in ensuring the highest level of security compliance."

The winners of the Professional Award category are selected by an expert panel of judges and recognize the most talented information security professionals from end-user companies. Judges conducted in-depth analysis and considered many factors -- such as applicable research, analyst reports and/or product reviews -- to narrow down the field of hundreds of submissions to just the top finalists.

"To be recognized as an SC Award finalist requires IT security leadership that is able to stay a step ahead of the growing complexity of cyber attacks," said Illena Armstrong, VP, editorial, SC Magazine. "Bruce Wignall's security team at Teleperformance epitomizes the industry's tireless efforts to protect valuable information from cybercriminals.

Winners of this year's SC Awards U.S. will be announced at a gala dinner and award ceremony to be held in San Francisco on April 21, 2015.
