Telkwa Appoints Advisory Board

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 15, 2005) - Telkwa (TSX VENTURE:TKW) has formed an Advisory Board to assist it in developing and financing its mineral exploration and development projects. The initial members of the board and their functions are as follows:

Dr. Jeremy P. Richards P. Geol. is Professor in Geology at the University of Alberta in Edmonton Canada specializing in Mineral Deposits. He received his BA in geology from Cambridge University, UK (1983), an MSc from the University of Toronto, Canada (1986), and a PhD. from the Australian National University (1990). After holding a post-doctorate fellowship at the University of Saskatchewan from 1990 to 1992, he was appointed lecturer at the University of Leicester, UK, before leaving to join the University of Alberta in 1997. His research interests and activities have focused on the genesis of hydrothermal mineral deposits, but with a broad perspective covering aspects as diverse as regional tectonic and magmatic controls on mineralization, volcanology, and detailed ore depositional mechanisms. He has investigated the formation of various types of ore deposit, including sediment-hosted, vein-type, and porphyry-type copper, and mesothermal and epithermal gold mineralization. His current research involves the study of regional controls on porphyry copper and polymetallic epithermal mineralization in northern Chile, Argentina, Iran, and Turkey. Jeremy has also consulted to several mining companies on overseas properties. He is a Councillor, Society of Economic Geologists(SEG) (2003-2006), Member of the SEG Lindgren Award Committee and Councillor, Geological Association of Canada 2002-2005. He on the editorial boards for several refereed journals in mineral deposit geology. Jeremy will provide Telkwa with advice on its gold and copper exploration.

Willard D. Tompson of Vernon B.C, is a retired exploration geologist with over 43 years of experience in hard rock exploration geology. He earned his Masters of Applied Geolog from Montana State University, Bozeman Montana in 1959 after which time he worked in exploration in Western Montana. In 1962 he moved to Vancouver, BC to work as an exploration geologist for Placer Development Ltd. where he worked primarily on Porphyry Copper and Molybdenum projects in BC, the Yukon Territory and the western United States. In 1966, Mr Tompson established himself as a consultant and since that time has worked on various types of deposits in BC, USA , Mexico and Nigeria. He is a registered professional geologist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Willard is a founder of Telkwa and is intimately familiar with our BC properties. He will provide advice and corporate memory on our existing BC properties and as well as on new acquisitions.

Joseph O. Breslawski is a businessman from Calgary, AB. Joesph's entrepreneurial spirit, proven marketing strengths, and ability to focus on visionary conceptual ideas; have enabled him to capitalize on making tangible products from the intangible concepts and ideas that predominate the high tech and geological data industry. Mr. Breslawski is past President and founder of CD PubCo Inc. For eleven years he had let CD PubCo through a wide variety of advancing high technology projects, international and local oil industry firms, various research institutes in foreign countries, and an Alberta Research Council's Joint Research Venture. Originally an Albertan, Mr. Breslawski came to Calgary in 1987 after having sold a successful electronics based business in Toronto. With him, he brought the concepts of CD-ROM publishing. Prior to that, Mr. Breslawski had a wide variety of sales and marketing positions in the publishing, general insurance, and office equipment industries. In 1999 - 2001 he served as Chief Information Officer for International Datashare Inc. a Toronto Exchange listed corporation, reported to the CEO, Bruce Chernoff on business opportunities, acquisitions and mergers. He spearheaded the purchase of Nickle Mapping, MSI Capture and AnGIS Software Companies for International Datashare Inc. Since 2001 Mr. Breslawski , as President of Keg River Corporation, develops web based solutions and consults on software development and implementation. Joseph's experience in technology and business processes will provide Telkwa with advice on implementing leading edge technology based on solid business requirements and advice on mergers and acquisitions.

As compensation for services to be rendered by members of the advisory board, Telkwa has granted incentive stock options to the members as well as to one officer under the company's stock option plan to purchase a total of 155,000 common shares at an exercise price of $0.12 expiring on Sept 14 2010. The stock options are subject to regulatory approval.

Telkwa Gold Corporation's current exploration focus is Nevada where it now has three properties and also has two legacy exploration properties located in British Columbia. Telkwa maintains its website with corporate information, reports and images of our exploration projects.
