TelNet Worldwide Broadens MPLS/VPN Option Enhancing Service to Multi-Location Businesses

Site-to-Site VPN Opens Availability Outside of Michigan

TROY, MI--(Marketwired - Sep 23, 2013) - TelNet Worldwide, Inc. (TelNet) announced the availability of a site-to-site VPN option with its MPLS/VPN service, offering businesses with multiple locations in Michigan -- and now virtually anywhere in the U.S. -- a highly flexible, secure and efficient data networking solution. TelNet MPLS/VPN offers quality options for ideal voice and data management, bandwidth, and security, with notable savings over other methods.

MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) enables prioritization of a company's voice, data and video traffic over a private and secure VPN (Virtual Private Network) across TelNet's advanced MPLS IP network. TelNet MPLS/VPN provides the advantages of a fully meshed network configuration that delivers direct communication between locations, adding reliability, speed and redundancy across TelNet's core IP network. Combining managed IP voice services with an MPLS network, TelNet delivers next generation technology that allows voice capacity via the customer's preferred access method (including SIP trunks, integrated access, and private line). TelNet MPLS/VPN can be customized with a full suite of flexible calling features and configuration options. It is highly scalable allowing a business to add locations, change bandwidth, add voice services and deploy services across locations quickly and efficiently.

With the site-to-site VPN option businesses may now securely add and connect virtually any data location, regardless of service area or bandwidth connectivity method. This option enables secure delivery of the customer's data over the Internet via an IPsec (Internet Protocol Security) tunnel/connection to their configured TelNet MPLS network.

"We initially rolled out our MPLS/VPN option to Michigan businesses in TelNet's primary footprint to ensure that our key market area was well served, while we continue development to expand the offering; now our customers can add locations virtually anywhere in the U.S.," noted TelNet president, Mark Iannuzzi. "One of the great things about our IP-based services, and MPLS in particular, is that it is so adaptable, secure, and efficient, providing clear benefits to businesses."
