TelPay for Business™ software release 6.3 continues the process of upgrading and extending its highly effective electronic bill payment service for businesses. More than just a payment system, TelPay for Business™ includes all accounting, audit trail and control requirements common to businesses. In addition to bill payments, it handles payment requirements such as payroll and government remittances. Most payments will cost 50 cents which is less than the cost of a postage stamp. Reduced cheque clearing costs, simplified bank reconciliation, elimination of the need for cheque stock, envelopes and writing or printing cheques will also save any business even more money and time. The TelPay service also provides the biller with payment details in electronic or fax format so accounts can be properly credited.

The new edition's clean, clearly laid out, all-in-one-screen interface, launched with a single click from an icon on your desktop, makes using TelPay for Business™ release 6.3 easy and something anyone with basic computer skills can do. New Features of Special Interest:

Lower Pricing. Businesses can now pay any vendor, supplier, contractor or expense account for as little as 50 cents for payments made electronically by TelPay. For payments made by mail a surcharge of 75 cents per payment (or 40 cents on Wednesday payments) is added. TelPay encourages suppliers to provide their bank account number, allowing users to reduce their payment costs even further.

Government Remittances. Employee taxes, CPP, EI and other deductions can be remitted with your payroll file. Up to 33 employees and deduction remittances can be paid for just $5.00. An unlimited number of additional payroll remittances can be made for just 15 cents each.

Payroll Splitting. Employees can direct their payroll deposits to multiple chequing accounts, credit card accounts and many other billers.
