TELUS Launches TELUS Transformation Office

Innovative "future-of-work" consulting team is transforming clients' cultures through best practices in employee engagement and technology

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 9, 2014) - TELUS (TSX:T)(NYSE:TU) today launched TELUS Transformation Office to help large organizations drive increased employee engagement, cultural transformation and improved financial performance.

Created in response to requests from external partners and customers, TELUS Transformation Office will deploy learning and technology experts to consult and train businesses in five key areas: leadership and culture, digital readiness and connected learning, career and talent services, onboarding and induction, and flexible work styles. The training is completed through a series of half-day workshops or more intensive bespoke consulting sessions, customized based on the client's specific needs. TELUS business clients will be able to add this unique consulting option to their existing suite of TELUS services, including telecommunications, collaboration, IT and security solutions.

Additionally, TELUS is the global leader amongst all telecom service providers with a total shareholder return of 286 per cent between early 2000 and March 2014, outpacing the number two incumbent by 110 percentage points. After several business clients approached TELUS to learn more about its transformation, the Transformation Office ran three pilot programs with Loblaw Companies Limited, The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) and Cameco before officially launching.
