TelVue HD Server Selected to Anchor New Production Facility

MT. LAUREL, NJ--(Marketwire - Jul 12, 2011) - TelVue Corporation (OTCQB: TEVE) (PINKSHEETS: TEVE), the innovation leader in IP broadcast servers, today announced that Lowell Telecommunications Corporation (LTC), a public access broadcaster and media center serving Lowell, Mass., has placed the B3000-Pro broadcast server at the core of its new, million-dollar production facility.

LTC operates two public access channels and one municipal channel for the city government. The recent expansion into the new facility gave LTC an opportunity to upgrade its production equipment, to streamline workflows and significantly expand its capabilities in rapidly emerging broadcast areas . To anchor the new facility, LTC chose the B3000-Pro broadcast server from TelVue working in tandem with a UTAH-100 routing switcher from Utah Scientific. A custom software control module developed by TelVue uses an Ethernet connection to facilitate communication between router and server.

"With our previous media system, importing and scheduling programs would take 4 or 5 hours to complete; Since switching to Telvue, I have cut that time in half. It's a much faster, easier process and leaves me time to work on other important projects," said Marc Duci, Director of Municipal Programming, LTC.

The LTC installation is the first result of a new partnership between Utah Scientific and TelVue Corporation, which will deliver fully integrated solutions featuring TelVue's complete line of broadcast servers and Utah Scientific's routing switchers. "We are very pleased that LTC chose our HD future proof server, the B3000-Pro, for their new production facility. We are known for providing server solutions for any type of broadcast environment, whether analog or digital, SD, HD, or IPTV, and whatever our customers' requirements, Utah Scientific has a solution to complement our technology," said Daniell Krawczyk, National Sales Director - Community Broadcasting for TelVue Corporation.
