Telx's Kirk Horton Named 2011 CRN Channel Chief

Telx VP of Channels & Alliances Recognized for Partner Program Policy and Innovation by Everything Channel's CRN Magazine

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 23, 2011) - Telx®, a leading interconnection and colocation provider in strategic North American markets, today announced that Kirk Horton, Vice President of Channels and Alliances, has been named a 2011 Channel Chief by the Everything Channel's CRN. This year's Channel Chiefs were chosen by the Everything Channel editorial team based on criteria that included policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel, and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.

In 2010, Telx achieved significant success with its Channel Partner Program, including the addition of Telarus, Wholesale Carrier Services, World Telecom Group and Intelisys as channel partners. Horton also developed and launched an Alliance Program and added International and U.S. participants, including European colocation firm Interxion. Under Horton's guidance, Telx exceeded 190+ Agents and alliance members, and Telx added internal personnel to support its Channel Partner Program.

"I am honored to be named a 2011 Channel Chief, joining a well respected roster of industry channel leaders," said Kirk Horton, VP of Channels for Telx. "Telx's Channel Partner Program is seeing an increase in demand due to the value of its Global Marketplace of customers and its strategic locations. Our industry-leading community of service providers, financial markets firms, cloud providers and SaaS providers and our interconnection service model makes Telx a great partner in any of our locations."

A complete list of the 2011 Channel Chiefs is available in the February 21 edition of CRN. For more information, visit http://www.crn.com.
