September 28, 2015 10:03 ET Cash Flow vs. Personality -- Stats Behind Paid Dating

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 28, 2015) - A recent poll of 500+ sugar babies from leading "dating with benefits" site shows that personality still counts even when it comes to finding that perfect sugar daddy. Female members on the site were asked what trait they value most in a sugar daddy and 31% responded that they value personality above all else. The next most appealing quality in a man was money at 20%. Perhaps not surprisingly, younger women were more likely to value a hot body (19%) in their sugar daddy compared to older women (8%). Sense of humor was valued as the most important characteristic by 17% of the sugar babies on Tempted.

Survey results confirm that younger women are increasingly engaging with sites like in order to experience things they aren't yet able to afford on their own. 34% of sugar babies said they were looking for a sugar daddy who would take them on trips around the world. In return, the majority said they would be offering companionship and intimacy to their daddy.

Cash is king when it comes to spoiling a sugar baby. 43% of female respondents prefer to be spoiled with cash. Fancy meals, shopping, and hot sex were selected significantly less.

Female survey participants were asked where they would favor going on a vacation with a sugar daddy. 26% of the surveyed sugar babies preferred the exotic beach location of Bali, 20% chose the slopes in Aspen, and 15% chose Hawaii.

56% of all female respondents were under 26 years old and the average male responder's age was 48. Dating with benefits is a growing segment of the online dating market and this survey of members demonstrates that this particular form of dating is especially appealing to younger women and more established men.
