Tenajon Closes $4 Million Private Placement; Crews Mobilized to Summit Property

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 9, 2006) - Tenajon Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TJS) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the closing of a $4 million financing.

Tenajon has closed on 2,097,700 flow-through common shares at a price of $0.45 per flow-through common share and 7,631,500 units at a price of $0.40 per unit. Each unit is comprised of one common share and one warrant, with each warrant being exercisable to purchase one common share for $0.55 for two years, provided that if the closing price of the common shares trade higher than $0.80 over any 20 consecutive trading day period the Company may accelerate the expiry date of the warrants. The securities issued under the financing will have a hold period expiring Oct 9, 2006. Summit Lake Gold Property

Tenajon is also pleased to announce that crews have been mobilized to the Summit Lake Gold Property. Work is commencing on the underground drifting portion of the exploration program which will provide the platform for the step-out drilling of the L, M and N Zones. Dave Visagie, P. Geo., who is a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101, will supervise the Summit Lake exploration program.
