Teracent Calls for Agency Beta Testers for Ad Development Studio

Ad Designers Gain Creative Control of the Dynamic Display Ad Production Process, Improving Efficiency and Effectiveness

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - June 22, 2009) - Today, Teracent issued a call for beta testers for its new intelligent display ad studio, an industry first for interactive agencies and marketers. Code named "Darwin," the Web-based development environment is an evolution of the dynamic ad creation process, designed to streamline workflow from concept to execution, reducing cost and drain on internal resources. Agencies and ad developers are encouraged to try out Darwin for free during the beta testing period, ending in August. Interested parties can submit a request to join the beta program and see a demo at http://www.teracent.com/darwinbetaprogram.html.

Darwin allows creative professionals to construct their own intelligent display ads rather than being limited to pre-built templates or relying on vendor service or third party support. This control over ad content and ability to test on the front end ensures maximum impact and optimum performance and saves weeks of development time.

How it works:

-- Develop - Based on Darwin instructions, users develop and upload their
dynamic creative templates as well as the various graphic elements and
datasets (i.e. calls to action, images, backgrounds, etc).
-- Test - Ads can then be previewed within Teracent's intelligent display
platform and tested across all possible and optimal permutations.
-- Implement - When ad templates and data elements are ready to be
served, the Teracent Intelligent Display platform delivers the dynamic ads
to their targeted audiences while managing relevant sequential messages on
    an impression basis.

"Display advertising is evolving and becoming smarter and smarter based on the mountains of anonymous consumer data advertisers can harness," said Vikas Jha, CEO and founder of Teracent. "With Darwin, Teracent plans to give agencies and advertisers more flexibility and control over their workflow as it relates to ad creation, saving time, money and alleviating headaches. To truly evolve the intelligent display process, we developed this tool for those on the front lines."

"We are looking forward to beta testing Darwin and always look to engage with emerging technologies and opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our client's programs," said Bob Clements, integrated media director for NetPlus Marketing. "Darwin represents a clear opportunity to leverage more control over dynamic ad creation and to streamline the entire process. The technology enables us to quickly control specific messages within specific customer segments, providing additional time for targeting and optimization to strengthen the bottom line."
