TeraGo Appoints Stewart Lyons CEO


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jan. 6, 2014) - TeraGo Inc. (TSX:TGO) (www.terago.ca) announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Stewart Lyons, 40, President and CEO of the company and a member of the Board of Directors effective January 6, 2014. Mr. Lyons replaces Charles Allen, Chairman, who served as Interim President and CEO since November.

Stewart Lyons served as Chief Operating Officer (2008-2011) and President (2011-2013) of Mobilicity, a wireless telecom carrier he founded serving Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa. Prior to this, Mr. Lyons was co-founder and Executive Vice President of XM Satellite Radio Canada, beginning as this venture's initial employee in 2004 and ending with a public company with $2 billion in market capitalization serving 2.2 million Canadians and driving EBITDA of nearly C$60 million. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Lyons was Associate, Global Trading, Interest Rate and Derivatives of Scotia Capital. He began his career in 1999 as Director of Operations, Toronto 2008 Olympic Bid Corporation. Mr. Lyons earned an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) from the

University of Western Ontario. He was named among Canada's Top 40 Under 40 in 2010.
