TeraGo Networks Launches TeraGo Voice™ In the Greater Toronto Area

New service offers businesses choice, flexibility and cost savings

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 25, 2010) - TeraGo Networks Inc. (TSX:TGO) (www.terago.ca), a leading national broadband services provider to businesses in Canada, today announced its entry into the local voice market with the launch of TeraGo Voice™. TeraGo Voice offers Canadian businesses a simpler, more flexible, and cost effective local voice service across TeraGo's facilities based IP network.

"Our customers across Canada have told us they want greater flexibility and value when it comes to their voice communications," said Michael Testa, Vice President, Marketing, TeraGo Networks Inc. "TeraGo Voice delivers a full-featured alternative voice service providing true value and flexibility to Canadian businesses."

TeraGo Voice is a local voice access service that leverages the power of voice over internet protocols to connect a company's private branch exchange (PBX) to the public switched telephone network (PSTN). This service provides all the traditional local voice services a business requires, including 911, 411 and 711, call blocking and call forwarding.

Canadian businesses will enjoy the scalability of the TeraGo Voice service and its burstable option. A business will no longer be limited to a fixed number of voice channels and can now easily add channels as their needs require. In addition, a burstable feature will enable a business to accommodate seasonal spikes providing more control of their voice infrastructure.

Every business is looking for cost savings to improve their bottom line. TeraGo Voice delivers lower voice access cost by eliminating unnecessary channels and consolidating multiple trunks in separate locations into one centralized access point. TeraGo Voice customers will also receive free calling to other TeraGo Voice locations throughout Canada.

"There is no question that IP trunks offer compelling cost advantages for Canadian businesses of any size," said Lawrence Surtees, Vice President & Principal Analyst, Communications Research, IDC Canada. "The typical savings of IP trunks can range from between 40-60 per cent and provide more features than currently available from legacy phone systems."

TeraGo Voice also simplifies the management of a company's local voice access by providing consolidated billing for internet, data and voice services, the ability to easily add voice channels, 24/7 monitoring of voice connections, and TeraGo's premium SLA with 24/7 live answer customer service located in Canada.

Canadian small and medium sized businesses now have the ability to leverage the advanced functionality of their IP-PBX, which has traditionally been limited to large enterprises to meet the expanding needs of their organization with TeraGo Voice.

TeraGo Voice is currently available in the Greater Toronto Area with national availability by the end of 2010. More information is available at www.terago.ca/voice.
