Teridion Appoints CMO and Vice President of Sales to Drive Adoption of Cloud-Based Dynamic Content Acceleration Platform

Following Its Series B Funding Round, Teridion Will Focus on Customer Growth and Marketing Initiatives

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 5, 2015) - Teridion, the cloud-based networking company that delivers the fastest Internet experience, today announced it has named Dave Ginsburg as chief marketing officer (CMO) and Kevin Kramer as vice president of worldwide sales to drive customer adoption and grow its global presence. This announcement follows the closing of Teridion's recent Series B funding round and increased traction of its advanced Global Cloud Network, which provides up to 20x performance improvement for Internet content. Ginsburg and Kramer will guide Teridion through its next phases of growth as it continues to deliver a high performance, reliable Internet experience that addresses today's data intensive, low latency and highly dynamic applications.

"On the heels of our GA release and recent funding, we are building out the team to both support the needs of our current customers and accelerate our global go-to-market strategy," said Elad Rave, CEO and founder of Teridion. "Dave and Kevin's expertise is exactly what we need to further our momentum and expand our market opportunities. With our strong understanding of the Internet performance landscape, Teridion brings a faster and improved Internet experience to businesses and users all over the world."

A technology veteran with over 25 years of experience, Ginsburg is well versed in establishing and growing company market positions in hyper-competitive industries. Ginsburg joins Teridion following his role of CMO at software-defined networking leader Pluribus Networks, where he played an integral role in the company's $50 million Series D financing as well as helped shape partnerships with Dell, Ericsson and Supermicro. Prior to Pluribus, Ginsburg held senior marketing and product management roles at Extreme Networks, Alcatel-Lucent and Riverstone.

"When you get the opportunity to work with a company that is tackling such an important problem in a breakthrough way, the decision to join is easy," said Dave Ginsburg, CMO of Teridion. "We are capitalizing on a clear and present market need -- a faster and more reliable Internet. People want high-quality content without slow uploads and downloads, and want their applications to run without delay. Teridion delivers on these demands by combining networking and big data analytics with the cloud to deliver an unparalleled user experience."

As the vice president of worldwide sales at Teridion, Kramer brings more than 20 years of experience in high-tech sales, most recently as vice president of worldwide sales and business development at Graphite Systems (acquired by EMC). While at Graphite, he worked with early adopter customers and beta partners to develop the go-to-market model from the ground up. Previously, Kramer held multiple sales leadership positions at Riverbed, where he drove growth for the performance management business unit as well as led a global focus on sales execution for WAN optimization, generating more than $250 million in new revenue.

"Teridion brings a clear value proposition to anyone delivering services or moving data via the public Internet. Given my focus on network performance, security and content delivery throughout my career, I'm very familiar with the various strategies to improve Internet performance. Teridion's bi-directional, cache-less offering, requiring no hardware and software investments by our customers, is truly unmatched," said Kevin Kramer. "No competing product provides the flexibility and mid-route visibility that we offer. Cloud-based content and application providers want to ensure their customers have the best performance possible, and Teridion gives these companies the fastest connection possible to keep their users engaged and coming back."

Teridion recently announced the general availability of its cloud-based networking platform and the closing of its $15 million Series B financing led by JVP, Magma and Singtel Innov8, bringing the total to $20 million in venture funding to date.
