Terra Builds Cape Town Studio for 2010 Soccer World Championships

Terra Brings Coverage to Worldwide Audience From On-Site Terra Village; Famed Sports Journalist Keyvan Antonio Heydari Hosts English-Language Program

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - May 24, 2010) -  This June, Terra will descend upon Cape Town, South Africa, to bring the 2010 soccer world championships to its 60 million users in North and South America. Coverage will be broadcast on Terra from a state-of-the-art studio located in Terra Village, an on-site hub built by the digital media company and bilingual content producer for the occasion. Terra Village will also host daily activities, including viewing parties, for advertisers and other clients. 

Catering to U.S. Hispanic soccer fans, Terra will introduce an English-language program featuring highlights, recaps and interviews, in addition to its Spanish- and Portuguese-language shows. The show will be hosted by Keyvan Antonio Heydari, who has covered the last six soccer world championships for media including The New York Times, The Washington Post and NPR. Programming will take place from June 11 to June 25, 2010.
