Terra Energy Appoints Behr as Vice-President, Exploration

The Board of Directors of Terra Energy Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TTR) ("Terra Energy" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the promotion of John Behr, Chief Geophysicist to the position of "Vice-President, Exploration".

Mr. Behr is a professional geophysicist with over 20 years of experience, working for companies such as Shell Canada, Rio Alto Exploration, El Paso and Dominion Exploration. Mr. Behr's expertise lies in structural and stratigraphic interpretation as well as originating many novel geophysical methods. He has discovered major finds in the Viking, Cadotte and Mississippian formations. Mr. Behr graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an H.BSc. degree in geophysics in 1984, and is a member of the CSEG, the SEG, the CSPG and APEGGA.

Mr. Behr's significant working knowledge and experience in Terra Energy's core focus area in Fort St. John, British Columbia has significantly strengthened the Company's ability to exploit this area. Mr. Behr has already provided the Company with leadership in several exploration plays with significant potential.
