Terrazas Miami Celebrates 30 Sales in 30 Days

Miami River Resurgence Drawing New Residents, Shops and Restaurants

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - October 07, 2014) - The Miami River is drawing new life to nearby neighborhoods with exciting condos, restaurants and shops since the historic river was modernized and became a popular place for recreational boating and entertainment. Terrazas Miami is a two-tower, 324-unit luxury, gated community located directly on the river and is celebrating the area's renaissance with 30 sales in 30 days. The property is located at 1861 NW South River Drive and is directly adjacent to E.G. Sewell Park.

"This is a premium property for buyers and truly a great opportunity," said Sales Director Michael Sadov. "Many projects in South Florida right now are in the pre-construction phase, but at Terrazas, buyers can close immediately and either begin living at the property or using it for rental income. In the past month, we've had some clients go from contract to closing in just six days," added Sadov.

Famous South Beach condos are about 15-minutes away, but come with a hefty price tag. Properties along the historic Miami River allow everyone to enjoy the famous Miami waterfront at a reasonable price.

As the resurgence of the area continues, the river project will enter its next phase after completing its first-ever dredging and environmental cleanup project allowing larger ships and yachts to sail from one end of the river to the other. Today, the restored Port of Miami River has new international shipping terminals, recreational boatyards and marinas.

Just last year, the Miami River Commission created a greenway featuring a public pedestrian and bike path allowing residents and visitors to enjoy a waterfront lifestyle. Since then, numerous restaurants, shops and kiosks have popped up along the greenway giving residents a nearby place to go for food and fun.

"Communities and neighborhoods along the river are becoming the area's hottest places to live," said Miami River Commissioner Brett Bibeau. "We are thrilled to work with the restaurants and residential projects in the area like Terrazas to further our efforts to make this part of Miami the new South Beach."

Terrazas Miami includes 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, lofts, townhomes and penthouses in two towers. Residents have private access to the Miami River and E.G. Sewell Park. The community is a short distance from the Civic Center Health District, Downtown Miami, Miami International Airport and the Brickell Financial District. In addition, several big new projects are planned for the area including River Landing, which will include a half-million square feet of retail space. The Shops at Civica, a restaurant and retail project in the Jackson Health district, is expected to break ground soon as well.

Prices start in the mid-200k and a majority of the units are priced under 400k. The amenities for residents include a fitness center, business center, sauna, Jacuzzi, yoga room and pool. Residents also have access to a private clubhouse that includes a party room complete with a bar and kitchen. Services for residents include 24-hour concierge service, property surveillance system, covered parking with controlled access and additional storage.

The units feature luxury finishes completed with high-end stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and in-unit washer/dryer. Residents will be able to enjoy stunning views of the Miami River and the downtown Miami skyline from their expansive private balconies.
