TERRY FOX FOUNDATION FINDS, RESTORES AND NOW UNVEILS TERRY FOX VAN

EVERY STEP HE RAN PAVED A ROAD OF HOPE; THE ROAD WE DRIVE TODAY

Attention: Assignment Editor, City Editor, Lifestyle Editor, Media Editor, News Editor OAKVILLE, ONTARIO MEDIA ADVISORY--(Marketwire - May 20, 2008) - In 1980, Terry Fox began his now historic Marathon of Hope. Following him every kilometre of his inspirational journey was a 1980 Ford Econoline van. Until recently, the whereabouts of that van was unknown.

A few months ago, the van was found and the Terry Fox Foundation asked Ford of Canada to begin what started as an automotive project, and became a labour of love. Every piece of the 1980 van was dismantled down to the last nut and bolt; then reassembled, restored and preserved to its original 1980 condition. The result - the culmination of over 1,000 hours of work by a dedicated team of professionals working around the clock - is Terry's Ford Econoline van, just as it was in 1980.

Please join the Terry Fox Foundation and Ford of Canada for a very special event -- unveiling the Terry Fox van, handing over the keys to the Foundation, and the long-awaited announcement about what the future holds for this historic vehicle.
