Tesora Partners With hastexo to Deliver World's First Enterprise-Class Trove Training

Partnership Launched to Meet Growing Demand for DBaaS on OpenStack


CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2014) - Tesora, provider of an open and scalable database as a service platform on OpenStack, today announced that it has partnered with hastexo, a professional services company headquartered in Austria and serving customers on five continents, to accelerate delivery of world-class training and professional services for database as a service (DBaaS) on OpenStack. The company also announced an online DBaaS webinar series and its participation in the first-ever OpenStack Day as part of the Percona Live conference.

As part of their partnership, Tesora and hastexo will offer Trove training on-site for customers.

  • Percona Live OpenStack Today Event: As a result of the increasing demand for cloud database support on OpenStack, the Percona Live event has added a free "OpenStack Today" event March 31, 2014 in Santa Clara. Amrith Kumar, CTO of Tesora, will be speaking about database as a service at this event.
  • Percona Live Trove Tutorial: Florian Haas, CEO/Principal Consultant of hastexo, will be teaching a 3-hour hands-on tutorial on Trove for OpenStack at the Percona Live event on March 31, 2014.
  • Percona Live Trove Installation Session: Amrith Kumar, CTO of Tesora, will be covering the basics of Trove installation and operation and discussing the future roadmap for Trove. Bring all of your Trove OpenStack DBaaS questions along to the Percona Live session on April 2, 2014.
  • OpenStack Summit Trove Presentation: Doug Shelley, VP of Engineering at Tesora, will be speaking about multi-database support for Trove on OpenStack in May of 2014.
