TestEquity to Target RF Interference at SATELLITE 2015

MOORPARK, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 10, 2015) - TestEquity, a value-added provider of premium test and measurement equipment and services since 1971, today announced that the company will be exhibiting at the SATELLITE 2015 Conference and Exhibition, where it will showcase a wide range of test equipment solutions designed to eliminate satellite RF interference issues. The premier event for the global satellite end-user community, SATELLITE 2015 will take place March 16-19 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

In booth 9110, TestEquity will display RF spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters and sensors, and mix domain oscilloscopes from key manufacturers including Keysight Technologies, Rohde & Schwarz, Tektronix, and JDSU. In addition, visitors to the company's booth will witness live demonstrations of a number of industry-leading products, including the:

  • Keysight N9000A CXA Analyzer - The N9000A CXA analyzer is a versatile, low-cost tool for essential signal characterization. The device can measure and monitor interference in the L, C, X, and Ku satellite bands from a teleport or remote location. With its low phase noise, the N9000A CXA is an excellent analyzer to test and measure low-noise block downconverters (LNB), and it can demodulate analog and digital video signals.
  • Keysight N9918A FieldFox RF Combination Analyzer - The handheld 26.5-GHz N9918A's base function is a cable and antenna analyzer. The versatile unit can also be configured to include a spectrum and network analyzer, vector voltmeter, power sensor, and built-in power meter.
  • Keysight U2000 Series USB Power Sensor - U2000 series power sensors measure true average power from RF and microwave devices while making setup fast and simple by providing plug-and-play USB connectivity and eliminating the need for a separate power meter.
  • Keysight MSOX4154A Mixed Signal Oscilloscope - The InfiniiVision MSOX4154A boasts 1.5-GHz bandwidth and delivers best-in-class waveform update rates, while the latest in capacitive touch screen technology dramatically speeds setup and operation for unprecedented usability. The device features a 5-GSa/s sample rate and 4 Mpts of memory, while Keysight's InfiniiScan Zone touch triggering drives a 12.1-inch display, the industry's largest.
  • Rohde & Schwarz FSH8 Handheld Spectrum Analyzer - Designed for use in the field, the rugged FSH8 is a handheld spectrum analyzer, power meter, cable and antenna tester, and two-port vector network analyzer, all in one indispensable tool for RF service technicians and installation and maintenance teams.
  • Tektronix RSA306 USB Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer - The highly-portable RSA306 uses a PC and Tektronix SignalVu-PC™ RF Signal Analysis Software to provide real-time spectrum analysis, streaming capture, and deep signal analysis capabilities for signals from 9 kHz to 6.2 GHz. The unit separates signal acquisition from measurement to dramatically lower the cost of instrument hardware. Data analysis, storage, and replay can be performed on a PC, tablet, or laptop.
  • Tektronix TSG4100A Vector Signal Generator - The TSG4100A is a vector signal generator (VSG) at the affordable price of a basic signal generator. The new RF signal generator complements other leading mid-range RF test solutions from Tektronix, such as the USB-based RSA306 spectrum analyzer, as well as the MDO4000B and MDO3000 mixed domain oscilloscopes. The TSG4100A is the first vector RF signal generator from a tier-one vendor with a price point of less than $15,000.
  • Tektronix MDO4104B-6 Mix Domain Oscilloscope - The MDO4104B-6 is an oscilloscope integrated with a built-in spectrum analyzer, and it allows users to capture time-correlated analog, digital, and RF signals for a complete system view of their device. With up to 3 GHz capture bandwidth, users can see how the RF spectrum changes over time.
  • JDSU MTS-5800 T-Berd Handheld Network Tester - The MTS-5800 T-Berd is the industry's smallest 10G handheld instrument, and it supports testing throughout the entire service life cycle. The device supports both legacy and emerging technologies required to handle various network applications, including metro/core, mobile backhaul, and business services installations.
  • JDSU P5000i Fiber Microscope - The P5000i makes it fast and easy to certify with the push of a button that every connection in a network is clear and optimized. The intelligent fiber microscope removes the guesswork from fiber inspection, providing reliable and objective PASS/FAIL analysis of the fibers and delivering the results to an existing JDSU test platform.

On Tuesday, March 17, visitors to TestEquity's booth can also sign up for a chance to win a 7-inch Amazon HD Kindle Fire, which will be given away in a drawing held at 5:15 p.m. that day.
