Teuton Cuts 98.5M of 0.58% Copper Equiv. at Tennyson Property, Stewart, BC

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 28, 2011) - Teuton Resources Corp. ("Teuton") (TSX VENTURE:TUO) (FRANKFURT:TFE) (OTCBB:TEUTF) is pleased to announce additional results from five holes at its Tennyson copper-gold property, located north of Stewart in the Eskay Creek-Sulphurets-Premier region of northwestern British Columbia (the "Golden Triangle").

The holes, all of which returned copper-gold values, are presented in the table below (a drill plan map accompanies this news release):

TN11-06 0.6 to 99.1 98.5 0.22 0.43 0.58
*Based on $1350 oz/ton gold and $3.45 lb copper, metallurgical recoveries assumed to be 100%. All widths drill indicated only. TN11-04 already reported (italics).

Brief descriptions of the first six holes of 2011 follow:

TN11-01—Driven at a shallow, 15 degree dip to the northeast. Hole had to be terminated early after encountering ice at 15.2m (indicating a valley in the rock below the ice).

TN11-02—Same azimuth as previous hole with a steeper dip of 30 degrees. Hole terminated after encountering a major, bounding fault at 71.6m (fault direction approx. northwest).

TN11-03—Drilled southeast at 30 deg. dip. At 81.7m rocks change to unaltered argillites whereupon copper and gold values fall off sharply.

TN11-04—Drilled at 33 deg. dip in direction of newly exposed rock island. From southeast to northwest, the lithology changes from a fine-grained grey, sericite altered semi-schist, into a chlorite-sericite altered aphanitic to porphyritic intermediate intrusive. Mineralization occurs as fine grained chalcopyrite disseminated in stockwork-forming hairline fractures and veins. Overall grade was reduced because of a 30m long, post-mineralization intrusion, occurring from 158 to 188m, which partly digested some of the copper and gold grades.

TN11-05—An exploratory hole drilled from the second pad, at same azimuth as previous hole, extending out under the ice with a 26 deg. dip. Again, as in the previous hole, a post-mineralization intrusion disrupted continuity of the copper-gold grades.

TN11-06— Drilled at same azimuth as previous hole, also from second pad, with dip of 45 deg. Copper grade at 0.43% was the highest seen so far at the Tennyson (over a long interval), in line with the changeover from sericite to chlorite alteration.

D. Cremonese, P.Eng., President of the Company, stated: "Drilling at Tennyson continues to return encouraging results. We have stepped out over a 100m from the first pad to the second pad and still are in good copper-gold mineralization a further 100m along in the direction of pad 3. Copper grades are beginning to firm up as we move out from sericitic altered rocks in the vicinity of pad 1 into the chloritic section of the Tennyson. Mineralogical indications are that we are still in the outer rim of a typical porphyry deposit."

Holes TN-2011 #'s 7, 8 and 9 are presently at the laboratory awaiting analysis, with a further seven holes being logged and diamond-sawed.

The QA/QC protocol system employed during the 2011 exploration program included procedures for monitoring the chain-of-custody of samples and the insertion of blanks and reference standard samples in every batch of samples. Pioneer Laboratories of Richmond, BC, an accredited facility, performed the analyses. The Qualified Person for the purposes of this news release is D. Cremonese, P.Eng.
