TH_NK Wins Digital Impact Award for Northern Rock Work

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Sept. 22, 2010) - Digital agency TH_NK tonight won the 'best use of digital by sector' award at Communicate Magazine's Digital Impact Awards for their work on the Northern Rock Mortgages site. The award presentation was held at the Tabernacle in Notting Hill to celebrate excellence in digital stakeholder communications.

TH_NK's work made it easier for customers to find a mortgage and learn more about the home-buying process. As well as containing useful advice and information for different customer groups, it also included a range of new tools such as a jargon buster, budget planner and overpayment calculator to take the complexity out of the selection process. As a result the Northern Rock Mortgage site saw the average time on the site increase 56 per cent and there has been an increasing number of people expressing an interest in applying for a mortgage.

With the 'best use of digital by sector' category very competitive;, Echo Research for the Liberal Democrats, Omobono for Ocean Sky, Echo Research for Syngenta and Citigate Dewe Rogerson for TalkTalk, also shortlisted.
