Thales Components Corp. and Richardson Electronics, Ltd. Sign Distribution Agreement for The Americas

LAFOX, Ill.--(CCNMatthews - Sep 27, 2005) -

Thales Components Corporation and Richardson Electronics, Ltd. have signed a distribution contract for power grid tubes used in professional television and industrial applications in the Americas.

Thales Components Corp. (Totowa, New Jersey) and Richardson Electronics Ltd. (La Fox, Illinois) announced today the signature of a distribution contract covering the Americas (North, Central and South America).

According to this contract, Thales Components Corp. assigns to Richardson Electronics, Ltd. exclusive distribution rights for its range of power grid tubes for TV transmitter maintenance, along with non-exclusive distribution rights for the complete range of power grid tubes used in industrial applications. The contract does not cover IOTs (inductive output tubes) for TV applications.
