The 2008 Growth & Value Investor Conference Returns Today in Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, FL--(Marketwire - June 17, 2008) - China Direct (NASDAQ: CDS), Dragon International Group (OTCBB: DRGG), China America Holdings (OTCBB: CAAH) and SouthernStar Oil Corpration will explore critical new business models on Tuesday, June 17th, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Boca Raton, for the Summer Growth and Value Investor Conference.

The "Sunshine on Wall Street" conference will offer a rare, inside look into the core of their strategies, strength of management and the potential for profit.

"This conference really hits home with the current economy and energy conditions in the world today," said Jim Depelisi, a registered investment advisor who sponsors the event. "Conference attendees should pay close attention to the business models of the presenting companies."

With gas soaring past $4.25 per gallon, SouthernStar Oil Corporation is attempting to further explore for domestic oil resources in historical proven basins in California. According to the company, the areas of California that they are exploring have produced results by other companies over the past 100 years.

"In contrast, with a barrel of oil getting ready to soar past $140.00 per barrel, the demand for goods and services are definitely transitioning to China, as they build out their bustling infrastructure. Thus, the three Chinese oriented companies that we have presenting, CDS, CAAH, and DRGG are trying to service the manufacturing demand currently occurring in China for the magnanimous, expansionary growth taking place there."

China America Holdings' fingerprint-based identification products seem to potentially be more 'need'-based, versus 'want'-based, DePelisi noted.

"China Direct's corporate expertise of identifying Chinese manufacturers and assisting them to get to the next level, is American ingenuity at its highest regard," he said. "In my opinion, they have brought the American 'roll-up' strategy to China, as they build out their bustling infrastructure. Moreover, they had done it with great success."

"Dragon International's business model for packaging pharmaceutical, food, and beverage products, is definitely a business model that a society cannot do without."

The conference begins at 4 p.m. with an hour-long social networking cocktail reception. Corporate presentations run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

At each session, attendees will hear informative presentations from each company's Chief Executive Officer and senior executive management, followed by question and answer sessions. Further, one-on-one opportunities are available with the CEOs and executives.

Attendance is free. Complimentary food and beverages will be served at the event.
