The "42 Rules to Fight Dog Cancer" Book and FightDogCancer.com Web Site Now Available

First Book to Include Dozens of Dog Cancer Success Stories

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - December 15, 2010) - The "42 Rules to Fight Dog Cancer," a compilation of real dog cancer success stories told by 21 different dog owners, and its companion Web site, FightDogCancer.com are now available. Filled with concrete tips that dog owners can start using immediately, 100 percent of the author's proceeds will be donated to dog-related causes.

"When my dog Bailey was first diagnosed with cancer, I was devastated," said Jeanne Arsenault, owner of Golden Retriever Bailey and FightDogCancer.com member. "The book and Web site not only give dog owners much needed support during their difficult journey, but also a place to learn about other dogs' treatment plans."

Both the site and book provide real world stories and treatment plans of dogs currently or who had to deal with dog cancer. The Web site offers a searchable database so that owners can see what other dog owners have done to help heal their dog from cancer.

"Originally, the book and the site were going to focus on my personal journey and my beloved dog Cody's cancer success story," said Aimee Quemuel, author of the "42 Rules to Fight Dog Cancer" and creator of FightDogCancer.com. "But as I started research for the book, I soon discovered that there were so many dog cancer success stories to be told. That is when the idea of the book and the Web site came together."

The Web site is free and the book is also offered free of charge to those who cannot afford it. All profits from the book and Web site are being donated to dog-related charities.

"This is not a money making venture for us, but rather a true passion to help people who are facing dog cancer," added Ms. Quemuel.
