Adidas began working with Wowzer in November 2011 when changing economic factors coupled with an international hiring push forced the multi-billion dollar sportswear company to rethink its screening process. Due to the influx of candidates applying for each position, Adidas' HR executives cited a laundry list of problems with traditional methods and wanted to make it easy for hiring managers to sort through the high volume of resumes and find the perfect candidate. Adidas -- always striving to be at the cutting edge of technology -- also wanted to balance the playing field between job seekers and recruiters and really give candidates a sense of what it would be like to work at Adidas.

"Our recruiters were inundated with resumes and it had essentially become difficult to select qualified candidates due to sheer volume," says Tauna Dean, Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition for the Americas, The adidas Group. Since Wowzer began working with the company, Adidas has streamlined its recruitment procedures: 140 candidates completed interviews in just 10 days. Adidas also reduced the total time spent on initial screening, citing that average screening times went from 50-75 minutes to 10-30 minutes each. Aside from saving time and money, recruiters also felt that they were able to bring better candidates to their hiring managers for the in-person interviews, increasing internal collaboration and satisfaction.
