"The survivors, both the infected individuals and those close to them, represent the bravest generation in American history." - Perry N. Halkitis, Ph.D., M.S., MPH

Through interviews conducted by Perry N. Halkitis, The AIDS Generation: Stories of Survival and Resilience narrates the stories of gay men who have suffered HIV/AIDS for the entirety of their adult lives. The book documents and delineates the strategies and behaviors of these men, and examines the extent to which these approaches to survival inform readers on resilience and health.
