The Bank of Maine Celebrates the Opening of Its New Operations Center

Consolidates Operations in Gardiner to Support Growth Strategy

PORTLAND, ME--(Marketwire - Apr 18, 2012) - The Bank of Maine is celebrating the opening of its new operations center located at Libby Hill Park in Gardiner on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. The ultramodern center consolidates the bank's systems and operations groups in a move that reinforces the bank's presence in the city of Gardiner.

"This is an important milestone for us. The Gardiner community has supported The Bank of Maine since we opened in 1834," said John W. Everets, Chairman and CEO of The Bank of Maine. "We are committed to the city of Gardiner and to the many employees who reside in the area."

The facility, located at 99 Enterprise Drive, accommodates 70 employees. The space is very efficient, contains many amenities for employees and includes state-of-the-art technology and security systems. In addition to the employees working in the new operations center at Libby Hill, The Bank of Maine has 62 personnel located in downtown Gardiner.
