"The Beautiful Beatles" Presented by the Aureole Trio

Special Guest Gil Goldstein on Accordion

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - August 10, 2009) - "The Beautiful Beatles," a classical interpretation of Fab Four standards from the Aureole Trio released by E1 Music, is in stores now. The British invasion has never sounded so exquisite thanks to these gorgeous flute, viola and harp arrangements. Master accordion player Gil Goldstein appears as a special guest.

The Aureole Trio takes their name from a cosmic source meaning the halo or luminous area surrounding a celestial body. Their ever expanding repertoire continues to appeal to audiences of all ages and background. Their vision and undertaking on this album has transformed The Beatles' catalogue into a brighter and radiant universe.

"Aureole trio's intoxicating blend of flute, viola and harp... gives a deep satisfaction that increases with repetition. The trio's members play with effortless technique and a fine sensitivity to the music and to one another. Their performance is, as chamber music should be, like a conversation among friends." -- Washington Post

The Aureole Trio ensemble is Laura Gilbert on flute, Mary Hammann on viola and Stacey Shames on harp. Aureole was formed in the fall of 1987, after playing together at Marlboro Music Festival. They have performed on A&E Television Network's "Holiday in New York," on the Bravo Television Network, and have been interviewed and featured frequently on NPR's "Performance Today." Each member is highly respected, passionate and boasts impressive solo careers. The trio's music ranges from the late 19th century, spans the 20th, and ventures into the 21st Century's cutting edge.
