The Belle Brigade Hit the Road for U.S. Tour With Good Old War on March 8th

Critically Heralded Sibling-Fronted Band Is Featured Alongside More Than 80 Artists on New Amnesty International/ Bob Dylan Tribute Album Chimes of Freedom

BURBANK, CA--(Marketwire - Jan 23, 2012) - Los Angeles band The Belle Brigade will set off on their first tour of 2012, hitting the road in the U.S. with Good Old War throughout March and April. Family of the Year will join both acts for the run, which will also include a stop at this year's SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. The Belle Brigade, which is fronted by siblings Ethan and Barbara Gruska backed by bassist Keith Karman, keyboardist, electric guitarist Ben Cassorla, and drummer Mike Green, are touring in support of their current self-titled album, which has received rave reviews from media outlets, and significant support from KCRW. The record took a spot in Paste's top 50 Albums of 2011 while Newsday compared their single, "Losers" as a "stunning folk-rock anthem built around their Simon-and-Garfunkel-esque harmonies."

Following on the heels of the inclusion of their song "I Didn't Mean It" on the Twilight: Breaking Dawn soundtrack, The Belle Brigade are also pleased to announce that their cover of Bob Dylan's "No Time To Think" is featured on the upcoming album Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International. Released on January 24th, the album salutes the life-saving human rights activism of Amnesty International and the incomparable artistry of Bob Dylan with 76 newly recorded Dylan songs by over 80 artists.

In addition, the Gruskas, along with their friend Bram Inscore, will join their friends Touché at their January residency at The Central in Santa Monica on January 24th at 11 pm. Trying out new songs and covers, they will perform as a trio, with Ethan on electric guitar, Barbara on drums, and Inscore on bass.

Ethan and Barbara are currently writing songs for a new album that they plan to release later this year.
