The Biggest and Brightest Holiday Show in the Fraser Valley is Back!

ABBOTSFORD, BC--(Marketwired - November 17, 2015) - The biggest and brightest Holiday Show in the Lower Mainland is back! Saturday, November 21 at 5PM marks the Official Tree Lighting and third annual Holiday event at Highstreet. Highlights include the arrival of Santa Claus, heralded by performances from 60+ dancers and entertainers including Spandy Andy, and a 40-piece marching band, complete with a 65-foot tree lit by Abbotsford Mayor Henry Braun and General Manager Markus Griesser.

One of the largest Christmas trees in Canada, Highstreet's tree rivals that of New York City's iconic Rockefeller Center. The Official Tree Lighting will be preceded by a nine-minute animated light show, utilizing 6,000 individually controlled tri-colour LED lights, holiday musical favourites, six snow-making machines and plenty of cheer. The show runs every Saturday at 5PM until December 19.

According to Markus Griesser, general manager for Highstreet, the event promises to bring the magic of the season alive.
