The Briars Golf Club Hosts Women's Amateur Championship

SUTTON WEST, ON--(Marketwired - June 03, 2016) - The Briars Golf Club is pleased to be hosting the Investors Group Women's Senior and Mid-Amateur Championship. The event will be held June 7-9, with a practice round on the 6^th. The event is part of Golf Ontario's Championship schedule for 2016.

Over 100 women from across Ontario will be participating in the event and testing their skills at this 94 year old private golf Club, located along the south shores of Lake Simcoe.

The event will generate interest and activity in the local and regional areas, with many of the participants and their families and friends staying in the area for the week.

The golf Club is located at 127 Hedge Road in Sutton West, which is adjacent to beautiful Jackson's Point. Spectators are welcome.
