The Calgary Home + Garden Show Presents the Biggest and Best in Home Innovation

Annual home style show presents over 650 exhibitors to inspire, educate and entertain

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Feb. 27, 2013) - The Calgary Home + Garden Show (CHGS), the city's largest exhibition of home and landscape design, décor and renovation, will take place February 28 - March 3 at the BMO Centre. The highly anticipated show will welcome industry professionals and suppliers from across the country, bringing the latest in design trends and tips to Calgarians and visitors alike.


  • Family Day presented by DLC & Country 105 (Friday, March 1, 2013) - A fun-filled afternoon showcasing every child's favourite handyman, Bob the Builder, along with a variety of interactive booths and family-friendly features on the State Farm Main Stage presented by HGTV & furnished by IKEA.
  • Pallet Design Competition- Well-known Calgarians show off their creative flare by turning simple wooden shipping pallets into interior design treasures. The final products will be auctioned off to support Make A Wish® Southern Alberta Foundation.
  • Ask a Designer furnished by Urban Barn - Visitors can bring their design, décor or renovation problem, along with any relevant swatches or pictures and receive a free 15-minute consultation with an industry professional.
  • Ask a Landscape Designer presented by CJAY92 & furnished by Revolve Furnishings - Visitors can get the most out of their sunny space by seeking a little help from the experts. Alberta's top landscapers will be on-site to provide free, 15-minute consultations.
  • Garden Stage by CREB®now - Green-thumbs and regular-thumbs alike can cultivate their garden know-how with Canada's top outdoor experts, including Jeff de Jong, Joanne Dafoe, Pavlina Krivy and Annelise Doolaege.
  • aLounge presented by Avenue Magazine, Nu Automations & Kool 101.5 - Come and relax in our Modern Moroccan Oasis. Sip a delectable cocktail and take in a show from afar while flipping through the latest issue of Avenue Magazine and testing the newest products from Nu Automations.
  • Food Truck Alley presented by YYC Food Trucks & Virgin 98.5 - YYC's food trucks will be pulling up to help you refresh and refuel! Enjoy your eats on the street or take a seat inside the Food Truck Eatery and have your meal delivered to you!

The Calgary Home + Garden Show will take place during the following days; Thursday, February 28 from 12 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Friday, March 1 from 12 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturday, March 2 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday, March 3 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
