The Camden Group Continues Expansion

Healthcare Consulting Firm Adds Five New Professionals

EL SEGUNDO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 3, 2007 -- The Camden Group, a healthcare consulting firm advising health systems, hospitals and medical groups throughout the nation, continues its expansion with the addition of five new experienced consultants.

The appointees are:

Vice President L. Craig Miller, M.D., will focus on developing and implementing hospitalist, quality and service line growth programs. Dr. Miller was previously senior vice president for medical affairs for Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, Fla. A pulmonary specialist, Dr. Miller has served on the faculty of Southwestern Medical School, and has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine. Dr. Miller holds a medical degree from Indiana University and a bachelor's degree from Manchester College.

Vice President Vannessa R. Coats will focus on hospital operations performance and process improvement services. Ms. Coats was previously corporate vice president for the Daughters of Charity Health System in Los Altos Hills, Calif. Ms. Coats has also held senior management positions with Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan in California. She holds a master's degree of public administration for health services from the University of San Francisco and a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University.

Vice President Barbra Z. Riegel will focus on planning and financial business advisory services. Ms. Riegel was previously responsible for planning, development and physician recruitment for Providence Little Company of Mary Service Area in Torrance, Calif. She holds a master's of business administration degree from Claremont College and a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California.

Senior Consultant Danielle L. Huebbers will focus on hospital service line development, strategic planning, financial analysis and market need assessments. Ms. Huebbers previously directed the Virginia Cardiac Network for Inova Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Va. She holds a master's degree in health administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and a bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston. Ms. Huebbers will be based in The Camden Group's Chicago office.

Senior Consultant Adam Medlin will focus on hospital and medical group finance. He was previously a senior financial analyst for Monarch HealthCare in Irvine, Calif. and a decision support manager at Brotman Medical Center in Los Angeles. Mr. Medlin holds a master's degree in health administration from USC and a bachelor's degree from Chapman University.
