The Cashdales Are Cantering to the Cowpea Festival

CLEVELAND, TN--(Marketwired - September 12, 2014) - The Cashdales, Check Into Cash's loveable team of Clydesdale horses, will be making an appearance at this year's International Cowpea Festival & Cook-off in Charleston, Tenn. The Cowpea Festival is in its third year and will begin this Saturday, September 13 at 10 a.m. in Charleston City Park. The festival celebrates Charleston's agricultural heritage as the "Cowpea Capital of the United States."

"We're honored to be a part of Charleston's Cowpea Festival this year," said Check Into Cash President Steve Scoggins. "The Cashdales have become a part of Cleveland's heritage during the years, so we're excited to celebrate Charleston's heritage."

The Cowpea Festival will feature fun for all ages. Kids can enjoy bounce toys, games, pony rides, a petting zoo, and storytelling while the adults can explore handmade art, locally grown produce, food vendors, and live music. There will also be a Cowpea Cook-off Contest with amateur and professional divisions for those with a killer cowpea recipe up their sleeve.

"The Cashdales can't wait to visit our neighboring city of Charleston," Scoggins said. "After a long national tour, it's always great to have the horses back home celebrating local events and culture."
