The Cashdales to Appear in the Warrens Cranberry Festival Parade

CLEVELAND, TN--(Marketwired - September 22, 2014) - Check Into Cash's famous team of Clydesdale horses, the Cashdales, will be heading north to Warrens, Wisconsin for the 42nd annual Warrens Cranberry Festival. The horses will be appearing in the festival's "Gigantic Parade," which takes place this Sunday, September 28 at noon. The parade will make its way down Main Street, circle by the Farmers Market on May Street, and end at Hartwell Drive.

The Warrens Cranberry Festival has been hailed as the World's Largest Cranberry Festival; and rightly so, as it attracts nearly 100,000 people every year to the small town of Warrens to celebrate cranberry culture.

"The Cranberry Festival's 'Gigantic Parade' is a really fitting event for the Cashdales," said Steve Scoggins, Check Into Cash President. "Not only are the horses physically large, but they also have really big personalities."

Each horse weighs more than 2,000 pounds and stands at 18.2 hands (over six feet). Even the Cashdales' shoes are large, weighing in at more than three pounds each. The horses' black coats and white stockings make them rare among the Clydesdale breed. Members of the Cashdales have appeared in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and escorted Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, to an event in 2011.

"We encourage everyone to come out to the Warrens Cranberry Festival Parade and cheer on the Cashdales as they pass," said Scoggins. "They truly are magnificent creatures, and they hope to encounter a great crowd this year."

If you see the horses in the parade, be sure to take a picture of them and post it to their Facebook and Twitter pages! The Cashdales have been on a lengthy national tour this year, visiting various stores and communities that Check Into Cash serves across the country. The Warrens Cranberry Festival begins Friday, September 26 at 7 a.m. and ends Sunday, September 28. For more information on the festival, visit CranFest.com.
