Texas Company Purchases The Country Network to Spotlight Country, Americana, Texas and Red Dirt Music With Quality Programming and Original Content 24/7 -- Now Broadcasting in 34 Markets With 40 Million DMA Households

NASHVILLE, TN and FORT WORTH, TX--(Marketwired - April 26, 2016) -  The Country Network (TCN) is back! The innovative music network, established in 2010, has been purchased by a Texas-based corporation, TCN Country LLC, and has relaunched under its original branding. TCN will fill a void in today's Country music broadcast marketplace, providing fans with quality Country music programming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across multiple digital platforms. Driven and supported through traditional advertisement revenue, TCN will have a global reach via and is currently broadcasting in 34 markets with over 40 million DMA households across digital subchannel tiers. Unlike many of its Country music network predecessors, TCN will not only focus on mainstream Country, but will also spotlight AmericanaTexas and Red Dirt music from both label and independent artists.
