The Danbury FCI Seeks Contractor to Provide Dry Goods and Meat


DANBURY, CT--(Marketwired - November 07, 2016) - The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Danbury, Conn. released on Monday, November 7 a sources sought notice outlining plans to issue a solicitation for the quarterly requirements of subsistence for dry goods and meats.

The solicitation will be restricted to 100% Small Business, with delivery scheduled to start on January 1, 2017. All items are a one-time shipment and must be delivered in the month of January 2017

The proposed contract type is a Firm Fixed Price, and the FCI indicated in its notice that it reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. It also noted that it will base awards equally on price and past performance.

Contractors interested in this opportunity must be able to:

  • Deliver the product on the time as agreed
  • Deliver the precise quantity requested
  • Submit the invoice at the exact prices quoted, and only after full delivery
