The Evermedia Group Reviews 2009 and Offers 2010 Guidance

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 15, 2010) - The Officers and Directors of The Evermedia Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: EVRM) wish to thank our corporate and individual business partners, contractors, consultants and particularly our shareholders for your loyalty, support and confidence in the past year. 2009 was a milestone year for the Company, marked by significant progress in establishing ourselves as an emerging leader in biometric security and defense contracting. It was a year distinguished by the establishment of strong alliances and meaningful longterm opportunities as well as progress in the wake of a worrisome recession and deteriorating global economy. As a company and as a team, we leave 2009 stronger, looking forward to building upon our successes and hard work.

We solidified relationships throughout the year with individuals and institutions committed to our success. Congressman Lee Terry (R-NE), a proponent of veteran affairs and small business, introduced us to the Peter Kiewit Institute at the University of Nebraska. In our effort to enhance overall capabilities, Evermedia Biometrics secured an exclusive teaming agreement with Electronic Data Services, an HP Company, in addition to entering into four other strategic alliances. By means of our control ownership of System Technology Solutions, Inc., we garnered relationships and contracting opportunities with Fortune 500 companies such as Stanley Associates and Honeywell.

Our acquisition of System Technology Solutions yielded positive revenue and earnings in the third quarter of 2009, marking the first time the Company generated income, and demonstrating our ability to succeed through strategic acquisitions and investments as well as strong relationships.

Looking forward, we remain positive that Evermedia will continue this growth as demand for multimodal identity and security applications rises over the next five years, particularly in the federal and military sectors. Though task orders in our functional area from the BOSS-U contract have yet to surface, we remain confident this contract and research vehicle will provide us the means to furthering our biometric concepts. It is our understanding that once policy, management and standardization task orders are complete, multiple research and development opportunities will follow as biometric initiatives in the U.S. continue to mature. As with many government contracting timetables, task and purchase orders are unpredictable and subject to delays.

Likewise, we predict revenues from defense contracting efforts will increase in upcoming months as task orders emerge. We continue to place bids as either a prime or a subcontractor for logistics, engineering and IT projects to various U.S. federal agencies and the military. Many of our subcontracting agreements and contract awards announced in 2009 have yet to commence. Since most are large, multiyear contracts, we foresee longterm growth to our earnings as we progress and win task orders. Our near term revenues are difficult to predict accurately, and at present, we can only offer a longterm outlook due to the timing of task orders and nature of government contracting. However, we do expect to hear awards announcements in the first quarter, at which time we will be able to better predict our revenues for the coming year.

We continue to seek investment and partnerships with complementary technology and defense services institutions in the coming year. Our business development team is in constant contact with companies, state and federal organizations and research facilities. Areas of interest include matching and search technologies, distance and moving capture biometrics, defense services companies with a product delivery focus and niche players in the IT sector. Securing healthcare and medical data will also be a primary focus in 2010. Also, HIPAA compliance and federal assistance to states present tremendous growth opportunities.

Last year was a time devoted primarily to forging relationships, improving our capabilities and positioning ourselves to reap the optimal benefits of a growing venture. Now that we have successfully laid this foundation, 2010 will be a year dedicated to revenues. While we will continue to pursue bids in the federal sector, we will seek grants to develop commercial biometric applications, explore other opportunities for mergers and acquisitions and improve our market capitalization.

We believe our company is extremely undervalued and our stock price does not accurately reflect current and/or future value given the state of our technology, the revenue potential of our government related contracts, the implied value of our intellectual property, the resourcefulness of our management and the prominence of our relationships. The Company has faced and continues to face challenges, as with any growing enterprise, by working capital and manpower issues, difficulties in market penetration, competition from established and incumbent competitors, etc. Moreover, a small public company must contend with additional issues such as maintaining corporate communications, shareholder relations and regulatory compliance.
