The ExecEvent Opens Nominations for the Execullence Awards

Analysts and Editors to Nominate Outstanding Technology Companies in Several Categories for Industry Recognition

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 12, 2011) - Attendees of The ExecEvent, a unique technology networking and business development-only event, will have the opportunity to nominate outstanding technology companies to receive industry recognition as part of the event's Execullence Awards, announced organizers today.

Senior executives in data storage, virtualization, cloud or data center management attending the ExecEvent are able to submit nominations for companies in the categories of Coolest New Technology; Best of Show; Best Cloud Company; Best Virtualization Company; and Best Disruptive Technology. The nomination deadline is September 15 and awards will be presented at the upcoming Virtualization & Cloud ExecEvent at the Network Meeting Center in Santa Clara, Calif.

"The Execullence Awards are an excellent way to recognize and reward the top technologies and presentations at the event," said Greg Duplessie, founder and CEO of the ExecEvent. "What better way to highlight the value of our exciting agenda than for press and analysts to vote for the companies and technologies that made the biggest impression on them at the show? Because our lineup is so dynamic from top to bottom, I'm expecting the final tallies in each category to be extremely close."

The ExecEvent focuses on the "hottest" new technologies with the highest visibility and potential for revenues, including cloud, virtualization, object-based storage and solid state. Panels include "Disruptive Technologies," "Virtualization - New Technologies," "Cloud Gateways - The Onramp to the Cloud," "Object Storage in the Cloud," "So Much SSD and So Little Time" and "Data Protection for Cloud and Virtualized Environment." In addition to the informative presentations, there is ample time to meet, share information and form relations with top-level executives over cocktails and dinners.

Registration is now open with a fee of $975 per person. Press member registration is complimentary. For registration details and updates visit www.theExecEvent.com.
