The Farha Foundation Presents "ETERNITE" For MASKARADE 2012

13th Edition Will Honour "Inspiring and Everlasting Spirits"

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 16, 2011) - The Farha Foundation, Quebec's leading HIV/AIDS fundraising organization, is pleased to announce "ÉTERNITÉ" - the theme for the 13th edition of MASKARADE. The exclusive event will take place on Thursday, February 16, 2012 and will be held at Marché Bonsecours. The evening's theme is set to celebrate "Inspiring and Everlasting Spirits", of whom like the Foundation's founder, Ron Farha, have either died of AIDS or have made a difference to the cause.

"We wanted to create a theme that would honour the contributions of those who have been affected by AIDS, and those who have been taken by the disease," states Linda Farha, Foundation spokesperson. "Although these individuals may no longer be here today, the memories we have of them, and the impact they have made in society will always be eternal."

MASKARADE 2012 will begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails, followed by a silent auction, dinner and dancing. The goal is to raise $300,000 in one night to help the men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in Quebec. The night will include an ÉTERNITÉ lounge and other surprises. More details of the evening will be announced closer to the event.

Those interested in purchasing tickets or making a donation can visit the official gala website at MASKARADE2012.com.

The Farha Foundation thanks all sponsors who have confirmed their involvement with MASKARADE 2012, which include: Diamond sponsor One Life; Pearl sponsors Computershare / Georgeson, CTV and Zenergy Communications; as well as Crystal sponsors ELLE Québec, fugues, Merck, Mont-Roy and Rogers.

MASKARADE is the most glamorous event of the Farha Foundation, and takes place once a year in the month of February. Previously known as "Black Tie Bingo", in 2004 this gala was renamed as MASKARADE. The theme is different with every edition, and it is always chosen in memory of Ron Farha. The activities during the evening revolve around the theme that has been selected for the night. Many artists and partners participate in a luxurious silent auction, and all the profits are given to the Farha Foundation. Visit MASKARADE2012.com for more details.
