The Future of Identity Verification Launches on Apple Watch With Keeper DNA

With Keeper DNA, Your Apple Watch Knows Who You Are

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - May 27, 2015) - Keeper, the world's most popular password manager and digital vault, has created Keeper DNA, a revolutionary identity verification system that replaces conventional two-factor authentication.

Keeper DNA + Apple Watch

Keeper DNA uses a person's connected objects and IoT devices to create a unique "Keeper DNA Profile" for that user's identity. It can be thought of similar to DNA in the human body; a unique "strand" of molecules (in this case, unique devices and physical factors) that define and identify a person. With Keeper DNA, users no longer have to manually enter numeric two-factor codes on their devices to access Keeper.

Keeper DNA is launching this breakthrough solution on Apple Watch. Users simply register their Apple Watch as part of their Keeper DNA profile and with one touch, verify their identity for fast, secure access to their Keeper vault on all their iOS devices including iPhone®, iPad®, iPod Touch® and Mac computers.

Keeper DNA Verification with the Apple Watch requires close proximity to the user which prevents remotely-located hackers from accessing the customer's Keeper vault.

Keeper on the Wrist

In addition to making multi-factor authentication more secure and convenient, Keeper users can select and view their favorite Keeper records on their Apple Watch. The watch app provides instant access to private information on-the-go, such as an alarm codes, credit card numbers, passwords or bike-lock combinations.

"As our customers begin adopting wearable tech and IoT devices, they will be able to utilize innovative devices like the Apple Watch to protect their identity, access their private Keeper vault and in the future, verify commerce transactions -- in real time. We created a way to make multi-factor authentication more elegant and secure," said Darren Guccione, CEO and co-founder of Keeper Security, Inc.
