The Georgia Association of Realtors® Announces 2012 Officers and Regional Directors

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - Feb 17, 2012) - Deb Junkin, RCE, Chief Executive Officer of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR), has announced the organization's 2012 leadership team. Officers were officially sworn in on Friday, Feb. 10, at the President's Inaugural Gala during GAR's Inaugural Meeting in Point Clear, Ala.

Bill Boatman of Augusta will serve as 2012 President. Boatman is a member of the Greater Augusta Association of REALTORS® and is the Executive Vice President for Meybohm REALTORS® in Augusta, where he has worked for more than 30 years. He is a graduate of Augusta College (Augusta State University) and holds the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) Designation from the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers.

Robin Lance of Savannah will serve as President-Elect. Lance is a member of the Savannah Board of REALTORS® and is an Associate Broker of Prudential Coastal Georgia Properties.

Anne Gault of John's Creek will serve as Immediate Past President; Linda Carol Porterfield of Athens will serve as Vice President of Administration and Finance; Jim Smith of Macon will serve as Vice President of Governmental Affairs; Ryan Brashear of Augusta will serve as Vice President of Professional Development; and Sheila Brower of Atlanta will serve as Vice President of Public and Member Services.

Regional directors for the association are as follows: Region 1, Carol Moson of Marietta; Region 2, Faron King of Hiawassee; Region 3, Todd Tucker of Acworth; Region 4, Michael Faulkner of Fayetteville; Region 5, Linda Jackson of Monroe; Region 6, Danny Amberson of Fortson; Region 7, Vickie Giles-Griffin of Albany; Region 8, Jim Jones of Brunswick; and Region 9, Tim Adams of Savannah.
