The Government of Canada Supports the Start-Up of TMI Climate Solutions Canada

Financial support enables the start-up of a first plant in Canada


MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - June 13, 2016) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

Mr. Francis Scarpaleggia, MP for Lac-Saint-Louis, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED, announces that TMI Climate Solutions Canada is obtaining financial support so that the company can establish its first plant in Canada.

The financial assistance awarded today by the Government of Canada amounts to $1 million. It is awarded in the form of a repayable contribution under CED's Quebec Economic Development Program. In the context of this project, with investments totalling $11.6 million, the funding allocated will enable TMI Climate Solutions Canada to purchase specialized production equipment and related tools, needed for setting up the plant.

CED is one of the six regional development agencies under the responsibility of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development.
