The Graffiti Run 5K Tours America for 2015

"The Colorful 5K" Will Make a Big Return Nationwide With New Improvements

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - February 17, 2015) - The Graffiti Run officially kicks off the new year with a new tour across America. The 5K run, which covers participants in color, promises to make big upgrades that will make 2015 even more colorful than ever.

How The Graffiti Run Works

Participants start off the races in white attire, and are free to run, walk, or dance through the 3.1-mile track. Along the way, they will encounter four color zones where volunteers throw just about as much color powder as they can on them. After crossing the finish line, runners will literally have a blast with throwing colors along with the event's signature CO2-powered Color Cannons at the Graffiti Party. The Graffiti Run also donates a portion of the proceeds to local charities in the cities they come to.

Fans of The Graffiti Run across America (as well as Edmonton, Canada) have known and loved the event's fun, colorful routine for the past several years, but The Graffiti Run intends to make this year's events even more special for the runners.

2015: The Year Of Revealing Rainbows

The Graffiti Run will make 2015 the best year yet with the new "2015 Prism Tour". Some of this year's improvements will include:

  • Color zones that play music
  • Up to four of their signature Color Cannons blasting color all at once
  • Giant decorative inflatable arches that runners will go under
  • New apparel
  • More food trucks.

With all this and more in mind, The Graffiti Run intends to reveal the individual colors that make up the whole experience.
