"Philanthropy has always been an integral component of NKPR and of the IT Lounge," says Natasha Koifman, NKPR president and IT Lounge founder. "While the Lounge has always had a charity of choice, this year, we decided that in a recessionary economy, it was important to contribute in a bigger and bolder way. Instead of one charity for the whole lounge, each of the participating sponsors selected a charity, foundation or cause to support. We work with such amazing brands who have the power and passion to make a positive impact in the wider community and the IT Lounge is an ideal vehicle to raise awareness and dollars for numerous causes."

In addition to IT Lounge sponsors making a commitment to the community, NKPR is donating their time and resources to the charitable organization Artists for Peace and Justice (, which was recently founded by Academy-award-winning director Paul Haggis. The primary mandate of Artists for Peace and Justice is to raise funds for the children of Haiti. Members of the star-studded advisory board include Josh Brolin, Diane Lane, Charlize Theron, Olivia Wilde and more. Giving back is truly in the air as the Windsor Arms Hotel celebrates their tenth anniversary by hosting the debut fundraising event for Artists for Peace and Justice, which will be held on Friday, September 11th at 11pm.
