The Kalamazoo Male Chorus to Perform With Foreigner at Four Winds New Buffalo

Sold Out Concert Scheduled for Friday, July 5

NEW BUFFALO, MI--(Marketwired - Jun 24, 2013) - The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians' Four Winds® Casinos are pleased to announce that the Kalamazoo Male Chorus will join Foreigner during the band's performance of its timeless 1984 hit "I Want to Know What Love Is," during their concert at Four Winds New Buffalo's Silver Creek Event Center on Friday, July 5. The concert is sold out. Foreigner is also donating $500 to the Kalamazoo Male Chorus to use towards its music program.

As part of Foreigner's ongoing charity partnership with the Grammy® Foundation, it is hosting choirs throughout the band's tour. The mission of the Foundation is to maintain and restore music education in America's public schools, and raise awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education.

"As far as I'm concerned, music is not only the most powerful form of communication between the peoples of the world, it provides a gateway that opens up a fantastic new dimension of feeling and creativity. Anything we can do to provide our young ones with the tools to express themselves through music, is our goal in this partnership," said Foreigner guitarist and founding member Mick Jones.

A Foreigner live greatest hits CD/DVD set will be made available for purchase at the concert for $20. Members of the choir will be selling the CD/DVD set to concertgoers both before and after the performance. The CD/DVD set features all of the band's classic hits and a raffle ticket for a drawing to win an autographed Foreigner guitar, which will be awarded at the end of the performance. The proceeds from the CD/DVD sales will be donated to the Grammy Foundation program.

Foreigner has also been involved with other charities including the Red Cross, Shriner's Children's Hospitals and VH-1 Save the Music, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for these worthy causes.

With ten multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, Foreigner is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world. The band has created some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Juke Box Hero," "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," "Say You Will," "Cold as Ice," "Hot Blooded," and the worldwide number one hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is." Foreigner has sold more than 75 million albums and continues to tour to sold out arenas around the world. More information about Foreigner is available at: www.foreigneronline.com
