Heat Season Tickets on the Ticket Market Averaged $3,239 Yesterday; $8,249 Today

As a result of the The LeBron James "Decision," which aired as an hour-long ESPN special Thursday night, tickets across the league have already been impacted as fans rush to secure seats to the 2010-11 NBA season. Yesterday fans could buy Heat 2010-11 NBA season tickets for $3,238.61 on average on the ticket market. Today, Heat season tickets average $8,249.99. That's a 2.5x increase overnight.

Average Knicks season ticket prices, which had jumped up 33% on Thursday on speculation LeBron would sign with the Knicks (from $4,128.55 Wednesday to $5,499.45 on Thursday) were down 18% to $4510 on Friday.

Cleveland Cavaliers season tickets are now averaging $935 on the ticket market or about 1/3 of what they were when LeBron James wore a Cavs jersey.
