The Living Series Helps Families 'Go Green' at The Green Living Show

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 28, 2008) - Green is becoming everyone's favourite colour as families practice their 3Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle. Though a good start to 'going green', families can adopt other simple changes to make an even greater difference. Did you know cotton and coffee contain the highest levels of pesticides? Or that products used to clean your home contributes to indoor pollution, and in many cases, is unhealthier than breathing the air outside? You can easily make natural cleaning products using ingredients found in your pantry. These are some of the interesting facts and tips from The Living Series: Learn to Live a Greener Life; a line of instructional DVD videos featuring renowned environmental experts. The Living Series (booth #533) will be at The Green Living Show in Vancouver, BC hosted at BC Place this weekend. The Living Series is currently in Wal-Mart and will be available at Sam's Club and other major retailers in time for Earth Day (April 22).

"Neil Armstrong said, 'That's one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind.' We strongly believe this saying applies to The Living Series, which was created to help families take small steps to reduce their ecological impact on our planet," said Ari Firestone, President of TBS New Media. "We invite families to come by our booth to preview The Living Series, purchase a copy of the DVD, and learn how to become a shade greener."

The Living Series covers 'green' topics including: energy conservation, cleaning, cooking and gardening.
